WHY I RAN
I chose to run the 2011 Chicago Marathon for Bright Pink because they strive to help young women take control of their health and they do it with the most refreshing, upbeat and positive spin. I felt a kinship with the organization immediately, as I am both a survivor and have a strong family history of breast cancer. As a member of TEAM BRIGHT PINK, we were treated like family and royalty each and every second. I would highly recommend this marathon team to anyone thinking of running the Chicago Marathon.
